Regus helps Sheffield workers to catch the big match

13th June 2016

Free access to local business lounges to help people work locally and be ready for England vs Wales 2pm kick-off Workplace provider Regus is helping local professionals to catch the England vs Wales European Championship match by opening its business lounges up for free.

The match has been touted as one of the biggest Internationals for both countries in decades. Unfortunately, tournament organisers have scheduled a 2pm kick-off on Thursday 16th June presenting a logistical challenge for the UK's football mad workforce. Regus has provided local workers with a solution, enabling them to work from nearby business lounges rather than struggling with the commute and potentially missing the unfolding drama at the Stade Bollaert-Delelis in Lens. Sheffield workers can head to two business lounges on Pinfold Street and Ecclesall Road where they will find modern, productive work environments equipped with high-speed connectivity, coffee and refreshments, and professional front-of-house staff. Richard Morris, UK CEO, Regus comments: -We know how much this match means to everybody and our network of business lounges puts us in a unique position to help. Our thinking is that, by working locally rather than commuting to the main office, people will be better placed to get to their favoured football-watching location in time for the 2pm kick-off. -Of course, the match is in office-hours, so workers will still need to negotiate timings with their bosses. But we are seeing businesses think far more flexibly about working patterns, and we believe many will be willing to accommodate the football fever. The Regus business lounges are located at: The Balance, 7th Floor, 2 Pinfold Street, The Balance, Sheffield, S1 2GU 2nd Floor, The Portergate, Ecclesall Road, Sheffield, S11 8NX The lounges are available for free on a first-come-first-served basis from 9am, June 16th.
