Roundabout Night at the Musicals comes to the Crucible for 2026

17th March 2026

Get ready to welcome a glittering array of top South Yorkshire theatre talent as one of the year’s most eagerly awaited live musical theatre events returns for 2026.

South Yorkshire youth homelessness charity Roundabout’s A Night at the Musicals will be at Sheffield’s Crucible Theatre on Monday, May 18.

This year’s lineup of singers and dancers - representing the best of South Yorkshire community theatre talent - will be joined by Hollyoaks star Carley Stenson and actor, performer, writer and West End regular Sam Buttery, who also featured in TV talent hit The Voice and Netflix series Kaos.

And with a selection of songs covering major hits like Les Miserables, There’s Something About Jamie and Wicked, a Night at the Musicals promises to be an evening of theatre magic.

“We are delighted to be able to confirm some great professional names for a show that promises to be our biggest and best ever,” said Roundabout Events Fundraising Manager Mhairi Jamieson.

“A Night at the Musicals delivers top hits from the West End, Broadway and film in one incredible concert, making the most of South Yorkshire’s great home grown performers.

“Last year’s show was a complete sell-out so although May might seem a long way off right now, we do advise you to book early, with tickets available at prices ranging from £26 to £33.

“This very special event blends unforgettable entertainment with real social impact.

“Every ticket purchased helps support vulnerable young people across the region, giving them the opportunity to build brighter, more secure futures.

“Together, we can make a difference helping homeless young people in the region build a brighter and more promising future.
