Rush through bubbles for Bluebell Wood

7th February 2019

Bluebell Wood Children's Hospice have partnered with Extreme Adventures to bring the foamiest fun run in town to Rother Valley Country Park! Bubble Rush is a fun run like no other.

Rushers start in a sea of foam, before passing through four different coloured bubble stations around the course, where high powered foam cannons create an incredi-bubble 4ft bubble bath to make sure people get completely covered in coloured foam! And, as it's two laps around a 2.5k course, participants go through each bubble station twice, so they get double the bubbly fun! The best thing is, it's not a race! Entrants can run, walk, jog or even dance through the bubbles. It's suitable for all ages and abilities there's no minimum or maximum age limit and the course is pushchair and wheelchair friendly. Helen Mower, Head of Fundraising, Bluebell Wood, said: -This fun event has been run by Extreme Adventures across the country, but this is the first time it's come to Sheffield. "We're delighted to have been chosen as their official charity partner, and this will be one of our major events this year. We're hoping it will attract supporters old and new to try something fun and different. "By signing up for the Bubble Rush, and getting sponsorship for the event, you're helping children in this area with life-shortening and life-threatening conditions. "We're hoping this event will be a sell out, so we're urging anyone who'd like to take part to sign up as soon as possible. Early bird Bubble Rush tickets are available now: £19 for adults, £9 for children aged 5-15, and £50 for a family of four, and these prices include an official Bubble Rush t-shirt to wear on the day, and medal on completion of the event. Children under the age of three can take part free of charge (although without t-shirt or medal). The car parking fee is included within ticket purchases, provided that proof of entry is given on arrival at the car park barrier.
