Sales Funded Training Programme

18th December 2014

The Sheffield Chamber of Commerce commenced delivery of a Sales Training Programme which is focused around sales and associated techniques in November.

The programme is funded through the Skills Enhancement Fund and has been designed to develop the skills of sales professionals within business who are based in the South Yorkshire region. The courses are open to individuals with varying levels of experience. The feedback from the Chamber Members who have completed the training to date has been extremely positive. Madeleine Rodell from Jiraffe used the training to enable the organisation to support their continued aim of providing exceptional customer service and commented - -Here at Jiraffe we really value fantastic customer service, so we saw this as a great opportunity to develop the skills of our Sheffield based Customer Support Team. As an Investors in People company, we're always looking for new training opportunities for our staff. Ian Collier from Air Power Products provided the following comments with regards to application of the new skills/knowledge - -The training has allowed me to adapt the ideas/concepts to my own area of operation and personality and apply the principles discussed to make my own job role easier, more enjoyable and productive. Brenda Jordan, Director of HR and Operations from The Sheffield Chamber of Commerce said -We are really pleased to be awarded this funding through the Skills Enhancement Fund which helps businesses in the region to train and develop their staff.
