School Trends staff hand over cash!

School Trends 123 local employees hand over a cheque for £6,570.

40 at their new Uniform Shop to Amy's Retreat. School Trends has supported the charity since 2007 and has to date raised in excess of £11,000 over the past three years. Amy's Retreat, based in South Yorkshire is a charity that provides a break for families with children suffering or recovering from cancer and give them quality time away from day to day routines. Amy's Retreat was founded by Joanne and Stephen Hall the proud parents of Amy Hall who was treated for cancer for three years before she tragically died on 2nd February 2000 at the age of five. The charity to date has provided many families with a break at popular UK holiday destinations. The charity is currently looking for volunteers to bag pack and help with events. The Employee Owned business recently opened a new Uniform Shop situated at 10 Carley Drive, Westfield around the corner from Waterthorpe Tram Stop. School Trends is the market leader in providing high quality decorated school uniform to over 5,000 schools across the UK. The local business supports its employees running different charitable events and activities to support the Sheffield based charity throughout the year. The main success of the fundraising is a small tuck shop selling confectionery to employees. Daran Brown, School Trends said: -We are delighted to present a cheque to Amy's Retreat outside our new Uniform Shop, it is full credit to our employees who have worked hard to raise cash for the worthy cause. Joanne Hall, Amy's Retreat founder said: -I'm overjoyed at the work that School Trends does for our charity, the new Uniform Shop looks fantastic and is ideal for parents wanting uniform that is grown out before worn out.
