Seeking Donation of AV Equipment

23rd May 2025

Sheffield Futures is on the lookout for portable AV equipment to help us run events across the city - and we’d love your support!

We’re particularly in need of a compact, easy-to-set-up sound system that can handle both music playback and live microphone use (for speakers and presentations). This equipment would support us not just for a one-off event, but as a long-term investment in our outreach and engagement work.

What We’re Looking For:

Portable PA system or speaker setup suitable for indoor events
Microphone(s) – ideally wireless or with a long cable
Mixer or basic control unit
Compatibility with modern devices (laptops, phones, USB, Bluetooth, etc.)

Why It Matters:

We are planning lots of events for the future, and some of the venues we could use for free don’t have in-house AV facilities. Having our own reliable, transportable setup would empower us to deliver engaging, high-quality events for young people and families across Sheffield, and supporters of our charity, wherever we go.

Can You Help?

Do you have equipment you could donate or loan?
Can you connect us with a supplier or tech partner who could help?
Or maybe you have expert advice on the most cost-effective setup for a small charity?

We’d be incredibly grateful for any support, tips or connections. Please email us at fundraising@sheffieldfutures.org.uk - we’d love to hear from you!

Thank you for helping us bring Sheffield’s communities together, one event at a time.
