SHC Wins The Brand Campaign of the Year Award at Sheffield Business Awards

17th October 2025

Sheffield Hospitals Charity scooped The Brand Campaign of the Year Award at the Sheffield Business Awards 2025.

The award ceremony took place at the Octagon on 16th October, and was hosted by Brian Cox, a multi award winning minder reader and star of TV and stage.

The event is in its 24th year and is organised by Sheffield Chamber of Commerce to shine a spotlight on Sheffield’s vibrant business community.

The charity staged an immersive exhibition showcasing the breadth and depth of their support for Sheffield’s NHS. The exhibition started out at the Trafalgar Warehouse in Sheffield where a new three-year strategy was unveiled, before moving to the Millennium Gallery for a weeklong public exhibition.

The Brand Campaign of the Year Award was in recognition of the innovative approach taken to demonstrating the impact funds raised by Sheffield Hospitals Charity supporters have across Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS FT and Sheffield Health Partnership University NHS FT.

Beth Crackles, Chief Executive of the charity said:
“We’re always thinking ‘how we can present our content and key messages in different ways?’ to achieve cut-through in a challenging economic climate, and in a city where there are so many fantastic, much-loved charities.

The Immersive Strategy Launch brought to life 10 areas across our NHS that we fund, from a hyper-realistic manikin for major trauma training to NHS staff wellbeing projects, from game-changing research to palliative care, and from accommodation near neonatal intensive care to cancer support. We did this by balancing sensitivity and playfulness; I don’t believe any other charity has given guests the opportunity to try out medical equipment used to extract bone marrow on a watermelon?

We need people to know that supporting Sheffield Hospitals Charity is the best way to directly support the NHS in Sheffield.

The more funds we raise, the more we can direct into life-changing projects. And nothing is more important than the health of those we love.”
