Sheffield Business Awards 2016 -  applications now open!

18th July 2016

It's that time again! The Sheffield Business Awards, now in its 15th year, is open for entries.

Organised by Sheffield Chamber of Commerce and the Sheffield Star, the Awards are open to all companies with an S postcode or who are a Sheffield Chamber member. One of the most prestigious events on the city business region calendar, around 700 people are expected to attend the ceremony on 1 December, which will be hosted by Harry Gration, Look North anchor and MBE holder for services to broadcasting. Brenda Jordan, Sheffield Chamber operations director, said: -We have worked hard to ensure any company, irrespective of its size or sector, will fit into one of the 16 categories so I would encourage businesses to apply and be given the opportunity to promote their skills, expertise and success. -In order for a company to qualify for the regional Business Awards they must have won an accolade at the Sheffield Business Awards - therefore, this could be the first step of a long and successful journey! The headline sponsor for the evening is Elevation Recruitment Group. Further sponsorship opportunities to support one of award categories are still available - for more details please contact sam.christmas@scci.org.uk. For more information on categories, how to enter and purchasing tickets visit www.sheffieldbusinessawards.org.uk. Applications will close on 12 September 2016.
