Sheffield CEO's Dinner Opens 'The Sheffield Table' - A New Innovative Dining Experience

3rd October 2024

The new innovative dining experience within the regenerated Leah's Yard, showcases an exclusive 16 person offering for the public and as a private dining facility within the art gallery at Yard Gallery.

Welcome to the latest and most innovative dining experience in Sheffield yet!!

During the day, Ian Proctor, one of the founding directors of The Sheffield Table, has Yard Gallery as an art gallery within Leah's Yard, the newly opened regenerated site in the city centre. At night, the very same table that is the centre piece in the gallery becomes the dining facility for a 16 seater unique and tantalising for the tastebuds, food and drink experience.

Chris Hanson is the second of the directors, the culinary wizard who is also known for Chef's Counter and Not Just Pink Custard CIC designs tasting menus with a vision of all ingredients coming from Sheffield itself. Indeed, even the table itself was resurrected by Proctor and created into the masterpiece that it is today.

The finishing touch is the third director, Andrew Lofthouse, known as The Northern Wine Guy, the wine and beer menus have been hand crafted by him which compliments Hanson's food thematics. The wines have a UK link and indeed some of them are far closer to home, the beer pairing menus obviously coming from the home of craft beer, Sheffield too.

This beautifully designed and orchestrated dining experience is here to stay and wthe three of them have already outlined dates to showcase tasting menus to the general public as well as taking private corporate bookings.

The opening to this new venture saw the Sheffield Chamber of Commerce as their first recipients as The Sheffield Table hosted the Sheffield CEO's Dinner with great success.

Dates for the general public are open now and available to book from the Eventbrite website and links are in the Chamber Member Events.
