Sheffield Chamber launches customer database system to boost profitability

Using the latest Microsoft Dynamics technology, the solution can help businesses manage marketing, sales and customer services more effectively. Chamber CRM, which launches on 23 October 2013, is a database that assists companies in simplifying and monitoring interactions with customers helping to secure repeat business. This scheme has no upfront costs and is based solely on a pay-as-you-go basis starting at £195 per month for 12 months. Amanda Pilgrim, head of business development at Sheffield Chamber, said: -A benchmark survey in the first half of 2013 showed a successfully deployed CRM will increase business profits by an average of 13 percent. The report also showed that it's not just big companies that benefit. Chamber CRM will allow businesses to view key business information at a glance including a breakdown of sales by sector, product or sales person, a record of customer contact and which marketing activity generates the most enquiries. Information does not have to be entered more than once and data can be easily migrated from existing customer databases as the solution is also programmed to be integrated with Microsoft Outlook. Other benefits Chamber CRM provides includes full training of the system, productivity apps, a helpline and 2,000 pre-loaded business contacts which match the company's target market.
