Finding yourself in need of some positivity during lockdown? Sheffield City Trust is promoting a feel-good message across the city.

This Friday (April 24) sees their fortnightly quiz return at 8pm live on Facebook. The Trust’s Facebook page (www.facebook.com/sivsocial) is also busy sharing tips on how you can stay active at home, look after your wellbeing and is a great source of some much needed positivity.

Quiz Master, Tom Booth who is also Sheffield City Trust’s golf manager, said: “In the present circumstances it’s important to have some fun and keep people entertained.

“The golf team usually run the monthly quiz at our golf courses, which we all really enjoy doing. This is a little bit different, but equally as fun! There’s always some great interaction with the audience and I do my best to keep things light-hearted and leave everyone feeling good.”

As well as making a difference to Sheffielders by entertaining them on social media, the health and wellbeing charity has been supporting local community groups, the NHS and Sheffield City Council.

Their recent activity includes donating over 7,000 items of PPE and nine defibrillators to local hospitals, donating food and supplies to food banks across the city and providing a £4,000 donation to Voluntary Action Sheffield. In addition to this, the car park at the FlyDSA Arena Sheffield is being used as a blood testing site for non-Covid-19 patients.

If you’re struggling to stay active and feel good in lockdown then check out the Sheffield City Trust Facebook page (www.facebook.com/sivsocial).
