Sheffield Crisp Company Exports to Russia

5th June 2017

The Sheffield-based Yorkshire Crisp Company is expanding its horizons much further than beyond the county boundary.

With a second order from Russia for eight pallets of Yorkshire Crisps, and plans to re-order every six weeks or so, the company is proud of its British manufacturing operation which produces gourmet crisps and luxury popcorn for customers all over the UK as well as in Europe. Focusing on its South Yorkshire heritage, its range includes Henderson's Yorkshire Sauce flavoured crisps, recognising the link with Sheffield and the iconic Henderson's Relish which was developed locally by Henry Henderson towards the end of the 19th century and has been made in Sheffield for over 100 years. Said Jane Knowles, Finance Manager at The Yorkshire Crisp Company, -We are a small team but we're very proud of our products and it's great to know that people thousands of miles away can still enjoy them too. -The Sheffield Chamber of Commerce and Industry is a great local source of information for us, particularly with our export orders. It is able to offer advice on regulations and documentation that is required and has also assisted us with queries on human resources.
