Sheffield Hallam University shortlisted for three national awards

Sheffield Hallam University has been shortlisted in three categories for its excellence in professional services for the Times Higher Education Leadership & Management Awards - the THELMAs.
Sheffield Hallam's professional teams have been nominated for Outstanding Student Services, Outstanding Strategic Planning, and Outstanding Student Admissions categories. The awards are in their eighth year and are open to every UK higher education institution. Professor Chris Husbands, Vice-Chancellor of Sheffield Hallam University said, "The growing success of Sheffield Hallam is supported by the excellence of our professional services, as highlighted by being shortlisted in three categories. "Since I took office at Hallam in January, I have been highly impressed by the University's professional teams, and their drive and ambition and their commitment to the success of the University. I am delighted to see their hard work has been recognised with these nominations." Each team had to submit their entry outlining performance and achievements during the 2014-15 academic year which were shortlisted by a panel of experts.
