Sheffield Hospitals Charity appoints new CEO and is set to expand the team

1st September 2023

Beth Crackles joined the Charity in June, following senior fundraising and communications roles in Regional and National charities and having worked as a consultant and trainer.

Sheffield Hospitals Charity is at a pivotal moment. Under the leadership of their new CEO Beth, the Charity is developing a strategy which aims to raise their profile, diversify their income portfolio, and be more strategic as a grant-maker so that even more projects can be funded that deliver real impact in healthcare for the people of Sheffield.

Beth said:
“It's a huge privilege to lead Sheffield Hospitals Charity. Few things are more important than the health and wellbeing of those we love. I'm looking forward to working with colleagues across the Charity and NHS, as well as the generous individuals and organisations in and beyond Sheffield, to improve the experience that patients have."

“Supporting the various Sheffield Teaching Hospitals sites, as well as Health and Social Care, means there's lots to do. I can't wait to get going with the team and help to provide more support for the NHS in the city I'm proud to call home. ”

The Charity is now looking to expand their team to take on new challenges as an organisation and are looking for positive, ambitious and creative team members who are excited about their vision and making a difference to healthcare across Sheffield.

Right now, there is a team of 14, but that is set to grow. The are new vacancies including a Director of Finance, Director of Fundraising, Digital Marketing and Communications Officer, Marketing Communications Officer and a Grants Officer.
