Sheffield Insurance Broker brings traditional values with a modern twist.

12th September 2018

Actus Insurance was founded in June 2017 by Sam Leeder and Paul Taylor to provide something new and exciting to the local insurance marketplace.

In a period when the choice of brokers is contracting due to ever increasing consolidation, we believe in breaking the status quo to provide a truly high quality service at a reasonable cost. In addition to providing insurance solutions we also recognise that many owner managed or family businesses lack the in house resources to deal with risk management issues themselves. We therefore use our expertise in this area to highlight where companies may need help and then take the time to help them find a solution. As well as providing an in house H&S solution to our clients, which once again is totally tailored to the clients specific requirements, we also work closely with other partner organisations in order to deliver rounded risk management solutions appropriate to customers needs. We are always on hand to help them with any issues they may have and operate on a face to face basis wherever possible. All clients have our personal mobile numbers and we make it clear that we are available whenever they need us, whether this be in an evening or on a weekend. We make good use of modern cloud IT practices and always have a full copy of client's insurance information with us wherever we are in the world. This enables us to react incredibly quickly to client's issues or queries. In addition, we also have a dedicated 24/7 motor claims helpline and response team. This ensures that should a client be stranded at the side of the road following an accident, our claims team can provide guidance as to how to deal with any third parties, but also to arrange for them to be recovered. We believe in building trust with clients by being transparent about what we earn and where appropriate charging a fee for our services. We also provide those same business owners with all of the information they need in a clear and simple way to enable them to make a fully informed decision about the types of insurance they buy. We work with a wide variety of business types across South Yorkshire and further afield, which includes: Construction and associated trades Manufacturing/Engineering Consultants Publishers Professional Risks (including Accountants, Surveyors, Architects, Solicitors and the like) Transport and Logistics Digital Businesses If you would like to review your insurance arrangements why not contact Sam or Paul on 0114 398 4498 or check out our website www.actusinsurance.co.uk Testimonial William Beer, Tunley Engineering Ltd Tunley Engineering® used (and will continue to do so) the services of Sam and the Actus team for our Indemnity and Liability insurance. As a new dynamic company, we often need to check we are insured for specific contracts prior to quoting, for this we need very quick feedback, to date the longest this has taken is a couple of hours! Excellent customer service and appreciation of what we need. On top of that our Travel insurance has saved one of our directors over a £1000 a year!
