Sheffield Investment Market On The Up

4th April 2014

Lawyers from DLA Piper's Sheffield office have successfully completed two investment sales of let industrial units for J F Finnegan, at its Parkway One Business Centre in Sheffield.

Completing in close succession and with a combined value of over £2.2 million, the disposals provide fresh evidence of the increasing demand for investment opportunities in industrial property in the city. J F Finnegan developed and constructed both units; one of which is let to flower wholesaler G T Flowers Limited and the other to machine knife manufacturer Arkote Limited. Nick Gillott, director at J F Finnegan, said: "it is very pleasing to see these two sales complete and I believe it is testament to the developments J F Finnegan delivers in terms of creating high quality buildings which are attractive to quality tenants and to investment purchasers alike." Mark Johnson, senior associate at DLA Piper who acted for J F Finnegan on both sales added: "it was great to have both sales complete in the space of a matter of weeks and it is certainly a sign of increasing confidence and buoyance in the local property market". DLA Piper has one of the largest teams of real estate lawyers in Yorkshire. As part of an international team, their local expertise is mixed with a wider perspective gained from experience in cross-border work.
