Sheffield solicitors back Make A Will Month for Bluebell Wood

19th January 2018

Been meaning to make a Will but not yet got round to it? You can have your Will expertly written for free this February, in return for a suggested donation to Bluebell Wood Children's Hospice.

HLW Keeble Hawson and Graysons Solicitors in Sheffield are among ten firms of solicitors taking part in Make a Will Month 2018 for the charity that supports families facing the toughest of times across the city and beyond. By making a Will this February, people can not only make sure their property and money goes to their loved ones, but also help make a difference to the children and young adults with life-shortening and life-threatening conditions that Bluebell Wood cares for. Moving house, getting married or divorced, or starting a family are all good reasons to write or update your Will. A basic Will can include funeral wishes, appointing guardians for children and simple bequests, including any gifts to charity. Eilidh Jordan, HLW Keeble Hawson, said: -I have visited the hospice several times and each time I am in awe at the wonderful support that Bluebell Wood provides, not only for children but for their families too. It is a pleasure to support this worthwhile local charity while helping clients get their affairs in order. That is why we at HLW Keeble Hawson LLP wanted to participate in the Make a Will Month campaign again this year. Julie Booth, Trust and Legacy Fundraiser, Bluebell Wood, said: -Making a will is one of the most important things any of us ever do. It makes sure that our money and possessions goes to the people we want, and can save a lot of stress and time for our loved ones in the future. -Doing this with one of our supporting solicitors during Make a Will Month will help us to continue helping families when they most need us. Every donation will help our families to make special memories, whether they have days, weeks or years left together.
