Sheffield United clinch sponsorship deal with Probiz

9th December 2011

Sheffield United have teamed up with leading national accountancy set-up PROBIZ.

Initially, PROBIZ branding will be featured on the back of the club's away shirt in what is expected to be a growing partnership between the two organisations. PROBIZ are commercial partners with many leading sports organisations.  United  join the likes of Wigan Warriors, Castleford Tigers, West Bromwich Albion FC, Lancashire CCC, Sussex CCC, Leicestershire CCC, Hampshire and the League Managers Association (LMA). PROBIZ were also title sponsors of the World Club Challenge in 2011 epitomising  their links with  leading brands. Sheffield United director Scott McCabe said: We are naturally delighted to announce a partnership with PROBIZ. It is a fast growing business that has a huge presence across sport and now United can proudly be added to that portfolio. Steve Coakley, the Blades new Commercial Director, said: We are thrilled to have begun this partnership with fast growing business PROBIZ. It is an organisation which brings shared ambitions, unique sporting contacts and is a respected name in accountancy. Founded by renowned wealth creation expert Feisal Nahaboo, PROBIZ has established strong connections across the sports sector. He said: Sheffield United have immense history and pedigree and to be associated with them under partnership is a 'quality fit'.  Both organisations have significant commercial expectations from the mutual cooperation. We have been a lucky charm for our other sporting organisations and we hope to be the same for the Blades. We saw West Bromwich Albion finish a record 11th in Premier League, Lancashire Cricket won the league for the first time in 77 years and complete underdogs Leicester CCC won the T20 unexpectedly! Wigan Warriors of course won the challenge cup for the first time in over a decade. So PROBIZ has made some impact as a lucky charm, and our name on the players' backs will hopefully bring more luck as Sheffield United push for promotion.
