Sheffield United open the door to a major sponsorship

6th June 2016

Sheffield-based Doordeals has been unveiled as Sheffield United's latest major sponsor.

The organisation has agreed a six figure, three-year deal to become the new back-of-shirt sponsors of the Blades' adidas home and away kits. Starting from humble beginnings in 1971, Doordeals is now considered as one of the leading independent online timber door retailers in the UK. Based within a mile of United's Bramall Lane stadium, Doordeals has enjoyed significant growth. Now an established multi-million-pound turnover business manufacturing and importing internal and external timber doors, it delivers to customers throughout the whole of the UK using its own dedicated logistics fleet. The partnership was confirmed at Doordeals showroom and distribution centre at Soho Works, Saxon Road when Bramall Lane legend Tony Currie, the Club's Head of Commercial Paul Reeves and Commercial Key Account Manager Liam Robinson signed off the contract with Door Deals founder John Naylor and Managing Director Steve Naylor. Doordeals Managing Director and lifelong Blade Steve Naylor said: -This is a very proud day for Doordeals and we are excited to be associated with Sheffield United F.C. as a major commercial partner. The exposure that comes with this opportunity can only enhance the profile of our business and contribute to our continued growth as a national online retailer.- Blades' Paul Reeves said: -This is another outstanding commercial arrangement for the Club and we would like to place on record our thanks to outgoing back of shirt sponsor DBL Logistics for their support over the last two seasons. -This new relationship with Doordeals will give significant profile to a well-established Sheffield business and we are delighted to announce this long-term relationship. The new home kit will be unveiled on the 7th June at Doncaster Sheffield Airport at an exclusive launch event held in conjunction with local radio station Hallam FM.
