Sheffield United Sign Principal Partnership Deal with Randox

Sheffield United today announces a new three-year agreement with the global health diagnostic specialist Randox as its principal club partner.

The partnership will begin for the 2021/2022 season, with both the Blades men’s first team and women’s first team wearing the Randox logo across their jerseys for the duration of the agreement.

The partnership will bring the club together with one of the world’s fastest-growing medical diagnostic companies. Randox, who have in recent times become known for their headline sponsorship of the Grand National; extended their partnership of the festival in December 2020 for a further five years.

Established in 1982 in Northern Ireland by leading medical scientist, Dr. Peter FitzGerald‎ CBE, Randox is the largest healthcare diagnostics company from the UK and Ireland. In 2019 Randox manufactured over four billion tests and operated in over 145 countries. The company employs more than 2,000 staff, including more than 450 research scientists and engineers, with key facilities located in Co. Antrim and Co. Donegal.

Randox have also been heavily involved in battling the ongoing threat of COVID-19 and, based on almost 40 years of diagnostic experience, quickly developed a test to accurately identify the virus. Through the enormous effort and commitment of its staff, Randox now operates at a capacity of 500,000 COVID-19 sample tests per day, and have carried out in excess of 13 million tests in the national testing programme.
