As part of Sheffield’s Future High Streets Fund bid, Sheffield City Council and the University of Sheffield plan to include two event spaces on Fargate. If the funding is awarded, it is anticipated that the sites will be open in 2022. This would be a great opportunity to have a physical home for events in the city.

The sites are:

Events Central: A Fargate building to house a range of spaces to hold exhibitions, talks, workshops and meetings.

Arena: An outdoor space for staging events on Fargate.

The University of Sheffield are keen to establish likely use of the spaces, should the funding be awarded, and it would be much appreciated if you could complete this short survey: https://forms.gle/GBAAmv1cKo8Zuhzz6
