South Yorkshire International Trade Centre Teams Up with Smartword to Launch New Language Service

Sheffield Chamber of Commerce's international trade department, South Yorkshire International Trade Centre (SYITC), have launched a new comprehensive language service to assist business in overseas trade activity.

Communicating in the right language can make the crucial difference when doing business overseas. With this new service SYITC can assist any business through any process where language may be a barrier to success, whether that be translation, proofreading or interpreting. To deliver this service SYITC have teamed up with Smartword, a UK based language service provider which specialises in delivering smart translations businesses can trust. Having a global network of 6,000 professionally qualified linguists covering 150 languages, quality language services can be tailored to meet specific business needs. Melanie Rippon, International Trade Coordinator at SYITC, said: -This new service is vital to our core business offering of helping companies develop their business through international trade. Opportunities abroad are endless but businesses sometimes are put off by barriers such as culture and language. As a business we aim to help and aid businesses with these challenges and our new language offering supports this.
