SRSB Award from Sheffield Volunteering

2nd September 2014

SRSB was delighted to be presented with 'Voluntary Organisation of the Year' from Sheffield Volunteering in May this year, which they won jointly with Project Buzz.

Sheffield Volunteering is part of the University of Sheffield Students Union and the awards celebrate the impact that many young people from the university make in Sheffield. Students support many different charities across the city in many different ways and they certainly deserve the recognition! SRSB has a great relationship with the University and works with them on lots of projects. It is important to the charity that students will take the things they learn from being involved them into their chosen careers when they finish their courses. They bring a lot of enthusiasm to SRSB whose clients really enjoy meeting them. SRSB would love to work with more companies, organisations and individuals in Sheffield to help with their fundraising and would welcome the chance to meet you! There are lots of opportunities to work with us, or we would love to hear any ideas that you have. Please just get in touch on 0114 272 2757 or email fundraising@srsb.org.uk
