Startup Weekend

15th January 2014

We're excited to announce that registration for the next Startup Weekend Sheffield is now open.

These intensive weekend events bring together passionate and creative people from all different backgrounds to build teams, validate concepts, create solutions to problems and identify revenue streams for commercialisation. Whether you have an idea of your own that you'd like to crash test or are just interested in building your skills, experiencing a startup environment, and meet new and interesting people, Startup Weekend is an amazing experience that you won't forget. Whatever your skills and experience, you have something to contribute to a Startup Weekend team. Throughout the weekend you will learn how to validate ideas through qualitative customer interviews, test assumptions using a Business Model Canvas, and present your idea in a coherent and effective way. You'll have access to expert mentors and coaches and all meals are included in the ticket price. For more information and to register, please visit: http://sheffield.startupweekend.org/
