Stock Exchange Features Gripple in Directory of Inspiring Companies

22nd December 2020

The London Stock Exchange Group has included Gripple in its flagship annual publication, ‘Companies to Inspire Britain’ to recognise inspiring stories of growth in companies making up the UK’s real economy, particularly in this year’s trying environment.

The report identified 1000 of the fastest-growing, most dynamic private companies across the country, with Gripple taking up full page. More than 80 businesses from Yorkshire and Humberside made it into the report.

Examined in detail were the opportunities and challenges which faced these companies, looking at the sectors and trends which will shape the future of the UK economy.

David Schwimmer, CEO of the London Stock Exchange Group, said: “We congratulate Gripple on its tremendous effort. The report highlights the SMEs’ vital role in driving economic growth, leading innovation and providing jobs across the UK.

“In this challenging year for businesses, it is more important than ever to shine a light on these stories of resilience and entrepreneurship. The success of UK SMEs is crucial as we rebuild a post COVID-19 economy, and the London Stock Exchange Group is committed to helping growth companies achieve their potential.”

The report was based on the growth in turnover over the last three years, with companies of between £6m and £250m eligible.
