A new range of products chosen for businesses who want to know their merch doesn't cost the Earth
The Sustainable Life by BIDBI range are three new and exciting collections of non-textile, responsibly sourced promotional products from BIDBI (Bag It Don’t Bin It). The Sheffield based printer and textile specialist are expanding beyond the world of eco-friendly textiles to offer a selection of new products, inspired by the world around us and our clients’ feedback.
The BIDBI team have worked closely with suppliers to curate a range of merchandise that compliments their specialism in sustainably sourced cotton bags and textiles. With an initial offering to include drinkware, notebooks and stationery, Sustainable Life products can be branded with anything from logos to full colour designs, making it easy for customers and clients to choose an eco-friendly alternative when promoting their business.
What Makes a Product Sustainable?
As a purpose driven business with a reputation for supplying a sustainably-sourced product, BIDBI have worked closely with their suppliers for many years. With UK branded merchandise spend thought to be approaching £2 billion, according to The Promotional Item Market 2019 report, BIDBI clients have been asking our advice on where to find collections that will help their brand be recognised without costing the Earth.
BIDBI wanted to be as open as possible with our customers about any products they recommended and have launched the Sustainable Life by BIDBI range as a stamp of approval, but also be frank and open about the journey of the products and exactly why we are confident in calling them “sustainable”.
Spend some time on a search engine looking for sustainable merchandise, and you might be convinced that simply not being plastic is all it takes to qualify for a big green check mark. With Sustainable Life by BIDBI, we want to show you why we believe the item you are considering will be less impactful to the world than the alternatives.
We want you to know how the product has been made and found its way to you, how you could use it, how long for, and what you need to do with it once it reaches the end of its life cycle. All Sustainable Life by BIDBI products include recycled materials, created with minimal wastage that lasts a lifetime, and consumers will want to use again and again.
For example, if you were to enquire about the Don 650ml Recycled Plastic Water Bottle, we want you to know that is was created responsibly, but we also want you to know that it’s going to be your consumers new favourite travel mug!
What Else?
It’s been all hands on deck at BIDBI for a long time so that we can launch Sustainable Life by BIDBI, have it be as successful as we know it can be, and ensure it is a range we can expand over the years. We’ve sourced products that we are more than happy to put the Sustainable Life by BIDBI name to, and work with amazing suppliers that we can’t wait to work more closely with. We also have plans to offer more personalisation options from our Sheffield production factory, based on Rutland Road.
Over the coming months, we will be adding more products through a growing selection of workwear and giftware options. If the Sustainable Life by BIDBI range doesn’t already include a product that you need, our teams will do the work for you to find it on your behalf so that we can produce it.
