Talent Sheffield Launch Wednesday 5 December 2018 Sheffield City Council would like to invite you to the launch of Talent Sheffield  a new employment initiative seeking to maximise the opportunities for local residents to secure employment with growing businesses in the City.

The formal elements of the launch event will take place at The Source Training Academy, 300 Meadowhall Way, S9 1EA (0114 263 5600). As part of the proceedings, attendees will be able to hear first-hand from Clipper Logistics, who have been supported through this new initiative to establish their new warehousing and distribution facility for PrettyLittleThing.com. This facility only opened in July 2018 and now employs over 800 people on-site. Finish To book your place please Click Here After the formal proceedings at The Source, there will be an opportunity for a limited number of people to have a hosted tour of the Clipper Logistics facility at Shepcote Lane*. *Places are limited due to the live operation of the site and will be allocated on a 'first come, first serve' basis. Individuals requesting a site tour will need to have their own means of transport to get to and from the site, as transport will not be provided. Flat shoes and warm clothing is recommended. End of tour IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Once you have made your Eventbrite ticket booking, please email invest@sheffield.gov.uk if you wish to take part in the tour of the Clipper Logistics facility after the formal proceedings have completed. As stated, tour places are limited and will be allocated on a 'first come, first serve' basis - we will endeavour to try and accommodate requests, but reserve the right to operate a Wait List. Parking is free at The Source or in The Meadowhall car parks. However, on the day of the event a registration form will be available at Reception - delegates must complete their vehicle details on arrival. A parking pass will then be issued and delegates will be responsible for ensuring the pass is clearly displayed on the vehicle. The pass cannot be issued prior to the day and can only be used once. Failure to display the pass may result in a parking fine.
