Taylor Bracewell Under New Management
2nd August 2017
We would like to announce some changes to our management structure.
Sharon Beck has decided that after 4 years as Managing Partner, now is the right time to step down. Sharon won't be leaving anytime soon though and has taken up the role of Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Sharon has over 30 years experience of working in all aspects of commercial law. She will now work on the overall exposure of the Firm concentrating on future strategy, growth and business opportunities. Peter Caswell will now step up as Managing Partner. Peter moves into this position after 5 years as a Partner and 13 as part of the Taylor Bracewell team. Peter has exceptional skills in dealing with both property and probate law. Peter's new position will see him responsible for the day to day management of the Firm, including compliance and financial matters. This is an exciting time for Taylor Bracewell. The change in management follows our conversion to an ABS (Alternative Business Structure), and coincides with the launch of our new Sheffield office which will be happening in September. Peter comments: -It is a great privilege to be named Managing Partner at Taylor Bracewell where I've worked for nearly 20 years. The change in management structure allows myself and Sharon to utilise our skill sets an guide the Firm to a bright and prosperous future. Sharon's final thought: -It is important to come to work and enjoy what you do. With our new roles Peter and I can focus on what we love doing, knowing that we are playing to our strengths. Part of our philosophy at Taylor Bracewell is placing our staff in roles where we know they will excel and this equally applies at management level. I look forward to this next chapter in the Firm's history and the challenges which lay ahead.
