Team Kell Brook

2nd May 2017

The eagerly anticipated IBF World Welterweight title fight between local hero Kell Brook and unbeaten American Errol Spence Jr takes place at Bramall Lane on Saturday 27 May.

The Sheffield man bravely stepped up two weight divisions earlier this year to challenge Middleweight superstar Gennady Golovkin, putting up a great display against the unbeaten Ukranian, before being stopped by the bigger man. Unbeaten in his natural weight division, Kell faces a stern challenge from the man nick-named 'The Truth'; Spence has a fearsome reputation as a knockout artist, with 18 of his 21 straight victories ending by virtue of a knockout. This should be a thriller of a contest, as Kell contests his first ever world title fight in his home town. Team Kell Brook are working in partnership with sports hospitality specialists Gala Events, to offer local businesses a corporate package with pre and post-fight hospitality including a three course dinner and complimentary bar, analysis from Sky Sports analyst and Sheffield boxing legend Johnny Nelson, a choice of well-positioned floor tickets, and the enticing prospect of an exclusive post-fight interview with Kell assuming he is victorious. Hospitality will be hosted with a Sheffield Chamber of Commerce member, the Copthorne Hotel, which adjoins Bramall Lane. There is also a top class undercard featuring the likes of George Groves, Anthony Fowler and women's world champion, the unbeaten Katie Taylor.
