Teeing Up for a Cause: Annual Golf Day Raises Over £7,400 for Lighthouse Club Charity

29th July 2025

Naylor Industries was delighted to once again host its Annual Golf Day in proud partnership with Lighthouse Construction Industry Charity — bringing together industry peers and supporters for a great day at Wortley Golf Club, Sheffield.

The event was a sell-out with 19 teams and participants were blessed with great weather too!  This year’s event raised an impressive £7,428 to support the invaluable work of the Lighthouse, the only charity in the UK dedicated to the welfare and wellbeing of those in the construction industry.

Lighthouse supports thousands of construction workers and their families every single year. Their support is based on 3 pillars: Emotional, Physical and Financial Wellbeing.  They offer a free and confidential 24/7 helpline, offering support and advice on a wide variety of wellbeing issues.

Naylor Industries has long supported the Lighthouse Charity with events like the Golf Day  “We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who joined us, took part, and donated so generously,” commented Edward Naylor, Executive Chairman. “It was a brilliant day, and the money raised will make a real difference to construction families in need.”

If anyone would like to take part in the 2026 Charity Golf Day, which will be taking place at Wortley Golf Club on Friday 5 June, please contact helen.jowitt@naylor.co.uk
