‘Thank you to our NHS’ – Sheffield healthcare company thanks key workers

6th July 2020

The Sheffield-based health care company, B. Braun Medical Ltd has launched a series of digital messages to thank NHS and health care workers in the city for their efforts throughout the Covid-19 crisis.

The award-winning company wanted to show its gratitude to thousands of workers on the Covid-19 frontline as well as its own frontline key workers by creating rolling messages displayed on digital boards at key locations in Sheffield.

Drivers coming in and out of the city on Sheffield Parkway are this week being greeted with messages such as ‘Thank you to all our Key Workers’ and ‘Thank you to our NHS from everyone at B. Braun Medical Ltd’. And on Sunday a special visual will appear to mark the 72nd birthday of the NHS.

David Oates, UK Group Managing Director of B. Braun Medical Ltd, said:

"We have worked closely with the NHS for nearly 40 years and know just how amazing all those working for our health service are.

“The Coronavirus pandemic has shone a spotlight on that work even more and every one of us have reasons to be grateful to the thousands of healthcare and other key workers for all they have done during lockdown.

“We, as a company, just wanted to show our gratitude and appreciation, and hope our digital messages do that and will remind everyone on their journeys to and from the city centre just how much we owe to all our key workers. Once again, thank you.”

B. Braun’s messages of thanks will also be appearing on one of the major gateways into Birmingham – the A38 Aston Expressway and also in the city centre – watch this space!

B. Braun Medical is headquartered at Thorncliffe Park, Sheffield, and is part of the B. Braun Group, one of the world’s leading providers and manufacturers of healthcare solutions.
