The Benefits of Public and Private Partnerships on Regenerating Our Urban Centres

19th April 2017

The Olympic Legacy Park (OLP) is part of the Advanced Manufacturing Innovation           District (AMID) in Sheffield with a history going back many years to the steel days of Brown Bailey, Don Valley Stadium and now the creation of a unique Health Innovation Campus in the Sheffield City Region for the promotion of health and wellbeing research and learning.

The OLP is being delivered by Legacy Park Ltd, a collaboration between Sheffield City Council, Sheffield Hallam University and Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. The benefits are already being seen with investment from the public and private sector including Advanced Wellbeing Research Centre partners Toshiba, Westfield Health and parkrun. Creating a competitive Sheffield City and wider Yorkshire Region is a key objective of the OLP and AMID. PwC and Legacy Park invite you to join them for a discussion over breakfast. The breakfast will bring together public and private sector leaders to hear from LPL Board Members about how the current site is benefiting the Region and the plans for the future. This will also be an opportunity to see first-hand the progress being made on the OLP. Event details: Friday 19 May 2017; registration from 8.30am, discussions over breakfast starting at 9am - we aim to conclude by 10am with networking following.  Location:  Oasis Academy Don Valley, Leeds Road, Sheffield, S9 3TY parking available at the venue.
