The search is on! Charity of the Year 2015

10th September 2014

The search is on for the Sheffield Chamber Charity of the Year for 2015! Three years ago, the Sheffield Chamber set out to support the charities in Sheffield by announcing a bespoke charity package.

An added benefit of being a charity member was the opportunity to become the Chambers Charity of the Year. This started as a small idea, but as acorns grow into oak trees, so did the concept and the interest and enthusiasm for the idea was fantastic. The only real issue was choosing the charity to support. -There are so many fantastic charities in Sheffield who do great work, it was hard to pick one to support throughout the year said Kate Stephenson, Event Manager at the Chamber. -As a Chamber team, we enjoy taking part in fundraising events and so we encourage our Charity of the Year to engage with us and give us opportunities to support their fundraising efforts. Sheffield Chamber of Commerce have now supported three different charities and are looking forward to a new partnership for 2015. It's a simple process to apply for the accolade and be in with a chance of winning. The winning charity will be announced at the Sheffield Business Awards on the 4th December 2014 in front of a 700+ strong crowd, which in itself is an excellent opportunity for brand awareness. If you are a charity member, be in with a chance of winning the title of Chamber Charity of the Year 2015 by completing the application form.
