The SEO Works is ten years old!

14th March 2019

Yesterday we celebrated our tenth birthday! We marked the occasion by inviting the 380th Master Cutler, Nicholas Cragg, to our offices.

CEO and founder of the company, Neil Palmer said of the milestone: -We've come a long way since I started out as a sole trader SEO back in 2009. Now, we've got over 40 of the best and brightest digital talents in the North helping our clients grow their businesses online. Amongst the celebrations, balloons and fizz, there was also a surprise appearance from magician Paul Kay to entertain staff, and a nice team curry to wrap it off. Nicholas Cragg, the Master Cutler commented -It's fantastic to see a company in Sheffield helping so many businesses grow. I was amazed to see how their services have helped drive performance even in more traditional sectors such as manufacturing. Happy birthday and congratulations on their growth! Advertising spend on digital in the UK now exceeds £11.5 billion pounds annually, and has now surpassed more traditional methods of marketing such as posters and TV. Managing Director Ben Foster said -We've now reached a tipping point in business. No matter if you whether you sell to consumers or businesses, attention is dominated by online and mobile. To succeed in this digital-first world, you need to be found and seen where your customers are online. It's great to be celebrating ten years of success helping our clients achieve this goal.
