The SEO Works reveal bespoke new website for Modulek

23rd January 2025

Market-leading modular design specialist Modulek has recently unveiled its brand new website, built by the award-winning Web team at The SEO Works.

In order to stay at the top of their game, the team at Modulek are no stranger to constant innovation and development. This has meant that throughout their journey they have often been ahead of their time, including when it comes to digital endeavours such as their website.

However, as times changed and the digital landscape advanced, it became clear that Modulek needed a flexible platform that gave them an element of control to fulfil their ambitious marketing objectives. But a slick and eye-catching design, as well as experienced developers to make it a reality, were required—which is where The SEO Works came in.

Graham Jones, Head of Web at The SEO Works, explained three core focus points the team had in mind when building the website for Modulek.

‘Firstly we focused on Flexibility and Control. Rebuilding the website using the Wordpress Gutenberg block editor allowed for full customisation, away from restrictive themes. This offered more freedom, as pages could be block-based - allowing the sections to be fully editable and in the future additional landing pages could be put together with ease.’

‘Secondly, we looked at improving the design. We carried out a full bespoke design process to produce a modern, engaging design which is brand-led and factors in UX/UI for visitors. We produce our designs using Figma and this enables us to generate a prototype before the development of the site. This means we can work collaboratively to refine things and factor in any UX design change early on in the project timeline, to ensure a better overall result.’

‘Thirdly, Return on Investment. The key to all of this is being able to demonstrate to the team at Modulek their ROI with reporting, using analytics and tracking. The site was also built with technical SEO requirements and best coding practices in mind to allow for better overall performance and page load speed.’

The web team at The SEO Works produced a site that fully incorporated all the aspects Modulek requested during design consultations while also maintaining a smooth, professional design built with their target industry and audience in mind. Take a look:

Carly Toogood, Marketing Manager of Modulek, was incredibly pleased saying “We are delighted with our website redesign. Our website needed a fresh new look and we wanted to make better use of the facilities within WordPress.
