On Tuesday 9th June 2015 The SEO Works was presented with an award for the Best B2C SEO Campaign at the inaugural Drum Search Awards at The Marriott Hotel in Grosvenor Square, London. The SEO Works Ltd beat over 600 other agencies to win the category and we are extremely proud to win the first award and to set the bar high for next year's awards. Sponsored by Google, Bing, Yahoo and the Recommended Agencies Register; the awards were hosted by marketing website The Drum and were intended to showcase the great work being done in the Search industry. The awards covered Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) and Pay Per Click (PPC) campaigns run by agencies from all over the UK, and The SEO Works Ltd was proud to be nominated for 2 awards: The Best B2C SEO Campaign and the Best Consumer Products/Services Campaign. Both these nominations were for the SEO campaign we have for health website Patient.co.uk, an online resource written by medical professionals with articles on thousands of medical conditions and treatments. The awards were judged by representatives from Google, Bing, Yahoo and other large agencies such as Money Supermarket.com, Trinity Mirror PLC and O2 UK Ltd. Matt Bush, Head of Performance at Google, commended all of the entries for the breadth and diversity of innovation and creativity on show: -Google wanted to work with The Drum on The Search Awards as we knew there was some amazing work going on getting no recognition -The entries did not let us down, search really is an industry on a massive high. The SEO Works Ltd was commended by the judges for our intensive keyword research and for our in-depth knowledge of how people search for phrases related to medical conditions. Managing Director of The SEO Works Ltd, Neil Palmer, said that the awards were good for the industry: -When the first search awards were rolled out we knew it was exactly what the industry needed. To be announced as winners was very special indeed and the fact that the judges were from Google, Yahoo and Bing was the icing on the cake. -I'm very proud of my team, they deserve this recognition. -This Award will help catapult us further ahead on a national level, so the next year will be exciting times for The SEO Works.
