Sheffield City Region (SCR) has a unique role to play to help create new businesses, support the growth of existing ones, and inspire and attract foreign ones to come to the region, putting in place critical infrastructure we need to grow.

Horasis is The Sheffield City Region have secured hosting a high-profile conference partnership with Dr. Frank-Jürgen Richter, one of the world's significant voices upon corporate globalisation and Asian business and Former World Economic Forum director of Asian affairs. Dr. Frank-Jürgen Richter, with his management consulting company Horasis, encourages multinational corporations to grow globally in order to thrive, and with a strong membership base of typically 300+ Chief Executive Officers, key business leaders from emerging markets, renowned thought leaders and relevant public figures including heads of government and ministers - Is bringing Horasis a global China Business Meeting to Sheffield. In particular, it will be the 13th Horasis China Business Meeting taking place in November 5-7 2017.
