The team behind original Yorkshire musical -No Horizon is making a last ditch plea to back their bid to appear at the largest arts festival in the world.

PCA, led by co-producers Max Reid and Andy Platt, needs to raise another £495 to reach its £2,000 funding target to make it to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in just over two weeks' time.

South Yorkshire IT business, Impelling Solutions, is amongst the individuals and local sponsors to have already pledged £1,505 toward their goal. Born in rural South Yorkshire during the 1600s and blinded in a world before Braille, Saunderson beat the odds to become a leading mathematician of his time. Managing Director Chris Foulstone said: -we love No Horizon's messages about passion, courage and personal determination. As a proud Yorkshire company, it's a pleasure to support local efforts to bring this remarkable story to a national audience, via Edinburgh Fringe. -The production is providing some fantastic opportunities to a number of talented individuals from our area who are wanting to forge a career in music and/or theatre. As part of South Yorkshire's thriving creative and digital sector, we felt it would be nice to lend financial support to the No Horizon Project at a time when funding for the arts is drying up.
