Top Learner Bar None

Reuben goes from behind the scenes to front and center.

In just a short span of eight weeks, Reuben embarked on his Supported Internship as a kitchen assistant at Greene King. Yesterday marked a significant milestone for him as he underwent his first Employer Review, where he received nothing short of excellent feedback from the employer.

Driven by his ambition to broaden his skill set, Reuben expressed his interest in being trained to work front of house and learn how to work behind the bar. He has already displayed remarkable progress in these areas, swiftly acquiring new skills along the way.

Jane, the Duty Manager, says: “Reuben is progressing well. I was happy that he suggested wanting to try the bar, as this will widen his experience. He is heading in the right direction for employment”.

Witnessing Reuben's dedication first-hand, we can see him here demonstrating his abilities in wine measurements and mastering the art of pulling pints.

Keep up the exceptional work, Reuben, and may your journey continue to flourish!
