Top speakers lined up for SheffEX

A programme of more than 25 business seminars and workshops has been unveiled for the Sheffield City Region's biggest networking event.

Top business experts from the region have been lined up to host sessions at SheffEX, which is returning to Ponds Forge International Sports Centre next week (Monday 1 June). For the first time, the seminars and workshops, which are designed to inspire creativity, sales focus and financial standing, will take place in two theatres at the all-day event at Ponds Forge. Highlights will include presentations from Richard Wright, executive director of Sheffield Chamber of Commerce and Industry, on increasing sales and growing business through exports. A Connect Gazelles Entrepreneur Panel will offer insights into the careers and achievements of some of Yorkshire's most successful business people while Faye Smith of Keep Your Fork will discuss emotional marketing tools to win customers. In the workshop zone, Jane Chapman of True Colours Image Consultancy will run 30-minute sessions on how to develop an authentic, professional image to boost confidence, improve communications and help grow business. Other free workshops include one-to-one PR and social media consultations run by multi-award winning HR Media as well as marketing advice with the Chartered Institute of Marketing.
