Training web-page launched by Sheffield Chamber

4th February 2014

Sheffield Chamber of Commerce has launched a new training web-page for businesses.

The Chamber offers an extensive range of training in many subjects across different sectors to both members and non-members. To bring all the different courses into one place, Sheffield Chamber has created www.scci.org.uk/training-services within its website to host all the programmes available. The Chamber provides access to accredited courses such as ILM, IOSH, CIPS, City and Guilds, NEBOSH and Prince2, along with many of its own courses in business development and soft skills. It also offers fully CPD certified online short courses via an E-learning platform. This facility holds approximately 100 modules of learning to suit the development needs of employees and training managers who prefer a flexible learning style. Julie Hardwick, business services manager at Sheffield Chamber, said: -Our courses are constantly updated in-line with our members' needs, with new ones added regularly. This new web-page is now easier to navigate around and find the right course first time by using the simple search facility and related courses options. -All our members receive preferential rates and have an account manager that will help them assess and plan the needs of their staff should they require this level of support. -With so many programmes available we think every member will be able to find a suitable training package to meet their requirements. For more information on the training programmes available, please contact the Chamber's membership team on 0114 201 8888 or visit www.scci.org.uk/training-services.
