Tramlines renaming Main Stage in memory of late Festival Director, Sarah Nulty

3rd July 2019

#BeMoreNulty Today, we are pleased to announce that our Main Stage will be renamed to 'Nulty's Main Stage' in honour of our late Festival Director, Sarah Nulty who passed away just three weeks before our 10th Anniversary in 2018.

2019's event will also see the return of the backstage 'Nulty's Bar', and brand new 'BeMoreNulty' merchandise, designed by Sheffield's own artist, Tom J Newell. All profitis of which will go to Cavendish Cancer Care and Weston Park Cancer Charity who provided vital care and support for Sarah and her family during her illness. Tramlines Festival Organiser, Danielle Gigg commented, -Sarah was the driving force behind the festival, so it felt completely fitting to rename the main stage in her honour and as a memorial for everything she's done for us. We will continue to raise money for Weston Park Cancer Charity and Cavendish Cancer Care who both helped her so much. Over £30,000 was raised for both Cavendish Cancer Care and Weston Park Cancer Charity in 2018 for from the backstage Nulty's Bar and the sales of the hugely popular BeMoreNulty merchandise, designed in association with Dropdead Clothing. In 2019, we aim to raise even more with a brand-new rainbow-coloured BeMoreNulty design, to help fund resources and crucial research carried out by both Sheffield-based charities. These can now be purchased on-site or via the Dropdead website here
