Best of all, as fellow Chamber members, you’re entitled to a 5% discount on 7 and 28-Day tickets purchased through the TravelMaster App. It’s our way of supporting local businesses and helping you save on travel.

What is TravelMaster?

TravelMaster offers a simple, flexible way to buy tickets that work on all bus, tram, and train operators across South Yorkshire. No more juggling different tickets, simply use one ticket for all your travel needs.

There are plenty of ticket options to suit you:

CityBus and CityWide tickets give you unlimited travel on all buses and trams within Sheffield. Whether commuting, a quick trip for work, or popping out for lunch, these tickets make travelling around Sheffield simpler. 

For those who travel beyond Sheffield, the SYBus, SYConnect, and SYConnect+ tickets give you unlimited travel across the entire South Yorkshire area - buses, trams, and trains included depending on ticket type.

You can choose from Day, Weekly, 28-Day, or Annual tickets to match your schedule and budget.

Buying and managing tickets has never been easier. The TravelMaster App lets you:

  • Buy tickets instantly from your smartphone.
  • Sync tickets onto a smartcard for quick tap-and-go travel on board
  • Use mTickets - digital tickets stored on your phone for easy scanning without paper or cards for 1-Day.

All you need is an NFC-compatible Apple or Android phone, and you’re ready to go. Whether you’re rushing to work or planning a day out, the app gives you full control of your travel, right in your pocket. You can use the App to add our full range of easy to use tickets to your smartcards.  If you are travelling less frequently or looking for more flexibility you can also get bundles of day mTickets in our app which already have a 15% discount included!
