Veezu Partners with Championship Team Sheffield Wednesday Football Club to Enhance Fan Experience

Veezu, formerly named City Taxis, is continuing their partnership with Sheffield Wednesday Football Club (SWFC) for the 2023/24 and 2024/35 season.

Veezu, formerly named City Taxis, is continuing their partnership with Sheffield Wednesday Football Club (SWFC) for the 2023/24 and 2024/35 season. 

The partnership will see Veezu become the official ride partner to SWFC, providing fans with convenient and reliable transportation options to and from the stadium on matchdays.
As part of this collaboration, fans can look forward to a range of unique fan engagement opportunities and even chances to win match tickets.

The partnership will extend beyond matchdays with both organisations collaborating on various community initiatives and charitable efforts to make a positive impact in Sheffield and its surrounding areas. 

Sacha Skinner, Regional Marketing Manager at Veezu, states: ‘We are delighted to continue our partnership with Sheffield Wednesday Football Club under the Veezu brand.

The collaboration between Veezu and Sheffield Wednesday is set to run for the 2023/24 and 2024/25 seasons, where fans can expect to see exciting joint initiatives and promotions throughout the year.

Veezu is the new name for City Taxis across Sheffield, Barnsley, Rotherham, Derby and Chesterfield. A regional brand of the UK’s fastest-growing taxi and private hire technology platform Veezu Group, City Taxis was acquired in February 2023.
