Veezu Supports Homeless Community with Sleeping Bag Donation

19th June 2024

As part of Veezu's ongoing support of Sheffield charity The Archer Project, they have donated 15 sleeping bags to the local homeless community.

The Archer Project is renowned for its efforts in providing essential services to those in need. With fluctuating weather conditions and cold temperatures at night, providing warmth and comfort remains a priority.

"As our former Charity of the Year, we are keen to continue our support of The Archer Project and the fantastic work they do in our community. From street sleep fundraisers to serving Christmas Dinners for the homeless, the charity always thinks about awareness. We hope these sleeping bags will comfort individuals who don't have the luxury of a 'home'." Said Sacha Skinner, Regional Marketing Manager at Veezu.

Lucy Wilks, Events and Corporate Partnership Officer at The Archer Project, said: "Veezu has been a long-standing supporter of The Archer Project, and their generous donation of sleeping bags will go a long way in providing homeless and vulnerable people in Sheffield with warmth, comfort and dignity in the months ahead."

The donation of sleeping bags was made through the Funded by Veezu initiative.
