Virtual office is the real deal for Chamber members

5th March 2014

A business base that's home-from-home Sheffield Chamber of Commerce is opening its doors to businesses thanks to a new 'virtual office' scheme.

Available exclusively to members, the competitively-priced deal offers both a professional postal address and environment in which to meet clients. Sheffield Chamber head of business development Amanda Pilgrim said: -This offer will appeal to smaller companies which work from home for economic reasons but would like a professional base for meetings. -We also anticipate interest from larger organisations based outside the Sheffield city business region that are keen to tap into the opportunities available here. The package includes a Chamber suite address for marketing purposes which can be used on all stationery and online marketing, but not as a registered address with Companies House. The Chamber will also receive, sort and store all post until it is convenient for virtual tenants to collect. A number of small to medium-sized meeting rooms can be used, subject to availability, as well as a roomy buffet area which can be used for client meetings. The deal also offers profile-raising exposure via Sheffield Chamber's website which lists all registered tenants together with a web link to the member and a short description of their business. Jonathan Whiffin Customised Recruitment is the first member to sign up to the Chamber Virtual Office Service. He commented "The facilities are simply unbeatable value. Having a flexible and professional environment where I can interview and asses candidates is perfect. This has also established my business link to the already strong local name of the Sheffield Chamber of Commerce and it is a privilege to be an even bigger part of the part of the Chamber and it long standing local and wider reputation." Thomas Sutton Account Manager at the Sheffield Chamber of Commerce commented that "I am pleased to welcome Jonathan as the first member to take advantage of our Virtual Office Service. I have no doubt that this service will enhance the relationship between Jonathan and the Chamber and I am confident that this would prove the same for any other business/member. As Jonathan mentioned this provides his business with a flexible option to conduct meetings off-site in a professional environment and this benefit would clearly translate to other companies in the area." Costs for Sheffield Chamber members with ten or less employees are £20 + VAT per month and £30 + VAT for members with more than ten.
