Vivid launches new Performance Marketing team

10th December 2020

At a time when many businesses are feeling the impact of the pandemic, Vivid – the establish Sheffield-based integrated brand and marketing agency – is building its team with a new Performance Marketing function.

The move puts the agency, says founder and managing director Gerry Arcari, in a position to offer clients a truly integrated, results-driven service that is designed to perform.

The new team has ambitious goals for 2021. John heads up the Performance Marketing team, fresh from his role as Head of Client Strategy at Jaywing and formerly Strategy Director at performance marketing agency Epiphany. Zahina joins as Paid Search Performance Marketing Manager from Search Laboratory. The team's previous experience includes working with clients such as BP Castrol, Savilles, HSBC, Irwin Mitchell, Yorkshire Water, GymKing, Oasis Fashion, Marriot Hotels and WWF.

“We’ve realised our own strength and potential in blending our creative authority and strategic experience with a performance led approach to clients' requirements and ambitions” says Gerry.

John wasn’t actively looking for a new challenge when he heard about Vivid’s plans. “When Gerry told me about Vivid’s future plans”, he explains, “it was an opportunity that I just couldn’t turn down. Building a Performance Marketing function alongside the current business infrastructure gives us a great opportunity to create a truly integrated marketing agency, something I still don’t think the industry has nailed yet”

Zahina is looking forward to what they can achieve, too. “I’m really looking forward to being part of an amazing, innovative team and working on some great projects. It’s going to be great working within a creative agency and having the opportunity to learn more about what happens beyond the digital world and to see how it all comes together perfectly.”

This is the future. We’re now in a unique position to blend the creative authority we’ve built over 20 years of strategic and creative delivery, with a very strong performance marketing offering” says Gerry.

“Building a Performance Marketing function alongside the current business gives us a great opportunity to create a truly integrated marketing agency, something I still don’t think the industry has nailed yet.” John Jackson, Head of Performance Marketing, Vivid.
