Wealth Management Firm With New Approach Celebrates Important Landmark

30th January 2012

Sheffield-based Jessop Financial Planning Limited, an independent financial planning and wealth management practice is simultaneously celebrating its first anniversary and an important centenary.

Managing Director Ben Westaway, both a Chartered and Certified Financial Planner, grew up in Sheffield before qualifying as a Chartered Accountant with PricewaterhouseCoopers in London. Ben latterly worked at Fleming Family & Partners Wealth Planning before moving back to Sheffield in 2011 with his young family. When Ben launched Jessop a year ago, he chose its name to remember his grandfather, Duncan Jessop, born 100 years ago this year, who worked as an accountant at Sheffield knife-makers A. R. Heathcote and Samuel Staniforth. Ben explains: Jessop brings together the best of an old-fashioned commitment to service with a fresh approach to financial planning, using the latest financial planning software tailored individually to each client. Ben and his team make it their priority to ensure clients have the financial framework in place to fulfil the life they desire. Each client receives a blueprint for their financial future known as the 'Masterplan'. Once implemented, the Masterplan is managed in line with the Jessop investment philosophy and updated at least annually. Ben comments, Whatever the life plan, we help clients turn their goals into reality. We provide our clients with peace of mind; working with them in a transparent way so that they can trust their future will match their expectations. We also think that it's important that we put our money where our mouth is - the pensions and investments of the Jessop team are managed according to the philosophy that we recommend to clients. In these uncertain times, Jessop Financial Planning can ensure you spend less time worrying about your finances and more time enjoying the rewarding lifestyle that a robust financial plan and investment strategy can deliver.
