We’ll be back open and running in no time!

10th December 2020

The Owlerton Stadium Team give an update on December at the venue.

One thing is for certain, it has been an unusual year, to say the least - totally unprecedented! A positive lesson we have learned from events during 2020 is just how resilient we all are, especially when we work together as a team. Nowhere has that been clearer, than at the Stadium. Team Owlerton have worked so hard to adapt to required COVID-19 changes - to keep everyone safe and keep the venue in a constant state of readiness for when we can open the doors to everyone again.

As Christmas approaches, our favourite time of year at the Stadium, we have been looking forward to welcoming families, friends and businesses from across the region, to celebrate Christmas with us. However, considering that any decision from the Government will not be made until 16th December, and restrictions of the Tier system, we do not feel we would be able to celebrate in the true, Owlerton Stadium festive spirit. So, it is with deep regret, we have decided to cancel our planned events to the public for December 2020.

We assure everyone who has made a booking with us for December 2020, our bookings team will be in contact with everyone to arrange refunds.

Christmas may be cancelled at Owlerton Stadium, but we will be with you in the festive spirit! We are pleased to confirm racing will continue behind closed doors throughout December and Team Owlerton will continue working behind the scenes, keeping everyone updated with news and festive fun via our social pages.

We’ll be back open before you know it!

Wishing everyone a very merry Christmas and happy New Year celebrations.

All the best,
Your, Team Owlerton
