Night at the Dogs - Owlerton Stadium Special Offer The Westfield Health British Transplant Games which is being held in Sheffield in 2013 is holding a fundraising event at the Dogs (Owlerton Stadium) on Tuesday 19th February.

Organised by the charity Transplant Sport UK (Charity Number 1127314) , the Games are staged annually in different cities around the UK, with the aim of raising awareness of the NHS Organ Donor Register and promoting the value of organ donation. Almost 800 recipients of life saving organ transplant are set to take part in the Games over a four day period in August 2013. The Transplant Athletes have all undergone life-saving organ transplants and will compete in 20 sports ranging from archery and swimming, to table tennis and ten pin bowling, at a variety of venues in and around Sheffield. The Local Sub Group, made up of transplant athletes and supporters from the Sheffield Adults and Leeds Children's Team are organising the event to raise funds required to deliver a successful Games and continue to raise awareness of the Organ Donor Register (ODR). In Sheffield we are targeting an increase of 12,000 sign ups. For just £12 per person you can experience an exciting night out at the Dog Track.
